Within his Instagram story, Wizkid commenced by highlighting his financial achievements and issued a plea to aficionados of Afrobeat music, urging them to refrain from downloading his latest track.
Moreover, Wizkid unequivocally expressed that he does not align himself with the label of an afrobeat singer, rejecting any attempt to confine him within a particular genre.
The artist continued to deliver a firm admonition to media platforms and bloggers, imploring them to refrain from posting or disseminating his album upon its release.
He wrote, “Album done! See you soon b*tches!
“And abeg if you like Pakurumo Wizkid, don’t download this new album. In fact, delete me from your playlist and your life!
“If you like Afrobeats, don’t download my album. I’m not a f*cking Afrobeats artiste. I am not Afro anything.”
