After receiving significant endorsements from Snoop Dogg and Akon, Black Sherif claims, “I’m just getting started.”
Black Sherif assertively claimed that this is only the beginning of his career, which is expected to be renowned in the years to come after receiving huge endorsements from Snoop Dogg and Akon.
Despite being a relative newcomer to the scene, the youngster is currently seen performing with well-known musicians and is thought of as one of Africa’s and Ghana’s top acts. Numerous professionals in the field and peers have praised him, the most recent being from Snoop Dogg, an American music icon.
In a recent interview on BBC Radio 1 Xtra, Akon in particular raved about the fast-emerging Ghanaian rapper and composer. The distinguished performer of Senegalese heritage declared that Black Sherif is one of his favourites and that he would sign him in the absence of a large label.

“I was in New York City when a friend of mine called Baako from Mali played me the song and I said yo who the F is that? You can hear in his voice, you can feel the pain, the struggle, you hear the challenges and you can just hear a ghetto kid wanting to get out.
“It’s the way he says it, you know is real, it’s nothing that’s fabricated and if no major label picks him up, they need to get to him before I do,” Akon is quoted to have said on BBC Radio 1Xtra.
In response, Blacko who recently spoke to Graphic Showbiz said he is humbled by the kind words from the two American greats.
“Such comments will urge me to do more. I have received such comments from superstars like Snoop Dogg but I am not allowing all that to get to my head.
“I see them as compliments and a challenge for me to do more. Black Sherif is just starting and Ghanaians and the world are about to experience something spectacular from me,” he said.
