“She is smart” – Tiwa Savage reveals who she is going to save between Wizkid, Burna Boy, Davido and Rema in her one-spaced boat
In a newly surfaced video that’s quickly making the rounds online, Nigerian music star Tiwa Savage stirred conversation as she revealed who she would save between Wizkid, Burna Boy, Davido, and Rema—if only one spot remained on a lifeboat.
The 45-year-old singer and mother of one made the statement during her appearance on GRM Daily, aired today, April 30, 2025.
While seated in a car for the casual interview, Tiwa was presented with a tricky hypothetical:
“You’re on a boat with Wizkid, Burna Boy, Davido, and Rema, but there’s room to save just one. Who are you picking?”
Caught off guard, Tiwa laughed and exclaimed, “Why would you do this?”
To which the host replied with a smile, “I don’t know, it’s my job.”
After a moment of laughter and reflection, Tiwa finally responded, “Rema.”
Explaining her decision, she said the “big three”—Wizkid, Burna Boy, and Davido—have already made their mark and lived fulfilling lives. For her, choosing Rema was a way to give the next generation a shot at longevity.
