ID Cabasa shares why Don Jazzy is one the smartest people in Nigerian music
In a recent interview, renowned Nigerian music producer ID Cabasa praised Mavin Records boss Don Jazzy for his strategic involvement with skit makers, calling it a genius move. ID Cabasa explained that Don Jazzy’s decision to collaborate with content creators has solidified his support and loyalty within the Nigerian creator community.
“What Don Jazzy did is connect with them (content creators) so that anytime he drops, all of them will post,” ID Cabasa said, emphasizing how this relationship has boosted Don Jazzy’s reach whenever he releases new content.
During the panel discussion, ID Cabasa urged emerging artists to collaborate with content creators to amplify their work. He also highlighted Kizz Daniel as another superstar who has cultivated a strong relationship with content creators, enhancing his visibility.
On his own approach, ID Cabasa expressed his enthusiasm for working with younger creatives, particularly Gen Z, citing their fresh inspiration alongside the experience of his generation.
