Ice Prince announces date for new album
Ice Prince, the Nigerian rapper famed for his distinctive blend of hip-hop and Afrobeats, has set a release date for his fourth studio album.
The album is called “Fire and Ice”. The musician stated on Twitter that the album would be published on May 3, 2024. Ice Prince, real name Panshak Zamani, has been in the music industry for more than a decade, and his debut album Everybody Loves Ice Prince was released in 2011.
His music is distinguished by a mix of relaxed, thrilling hip-hop and colorful, joyful pop tracks, which has garnered him a devoted following and critical acclaim.
The rapper’s current smash track, “Kolo,” featuring Oxlade, has garnered positive feedback, and he has hinted at an album release on social media. Ice Prince has signed with 300 Entertainment, an American label that also represents Young Thug and Megan Thee Stallion, making him the first African artist on their roster.
Ice Prince revealed in a 2021 interview with OkayAfrica that his upcoming album, Fire and Ice, will reflect his persona, which he calls Fire and Ice. The new song, which promises to showcase the rapper’s distinct style and storytelling ability, has fans eager.
