Police arrest Rapper Ice Prince for driving without license plate and abducting an officer
The Lagos State Police Command has detained Ice Prince for attacking a police officer.
It was revealed that the well-known singer Oleku crooner was stopped by police at around three in the morning on Friday for driving a vehicle without a licence plate.
Ice Prince, who had initially agreed to be taken to the station right away, was said to have kidnapped the police officer in his car, attacked him, and threatened to toss him in the lagoon.
Corroborating the arrest, the spokesperson of Lagos state police command SP Benjamin Hundeyin said Ice Prince has been arrested and would be arraigned today.
According to Hundeyin
“at about 3a.m @Iceprincezamani was stopped for driving without license plates. He agreed to be taken to the station.
He, thereafter, abducted the police officer in his car, assaulted him, and threatened to throw him in the river. He has been arrested and would be arraigned today.”

This comes days after Mavin Record signee, Boy Spyce was spotted in a confrontation with Police Officers.
According to a fan’s Instagram video, Boy Spyce was pulled over by Nigerian police for driving with his headlights on.
The singer was reportedly stopped by police for a search, and it seems like things quickly got out of hand.
The police insisted that he turn off his lights, despite the fact that, in his opinion, he did nothing illegal.
Boy Spyce started an Instagram live video in the heat of the moment to record the occurrence and also to show the world what he was going through.
At a point, his key was also seized while the car was in motion because they claimed he was proving stubborn.
After the back and forth, Boy Spyce gave an update later that the matter has been resolved and he is okay.
