    Nigerian music icon Tiwa Savage has opened up about her plans to expand her family, revealing that she has already taken proactive steps to make it possible.

    In a candid conversation with US podcaster Joe Budden, the 45-year-old singer and mother of one disclosed that she has undergone egg freezing, a medical procedure that preserves a woman’s eggs for future use.

    Tiwa explained that the decision was influenced by her age and her hopes of having more children, particularly boys.

    “I want more children, boys. I have actually done egg freezing. I am just preparing. Like I said, I am not young. I am thinking about my age and want to get my eggs while they are still very healthy,” she said.

    Her revelation comes shortly after she made headlines for discussing a past relationship with a Nigerian celebrity, which she ended after what she described as disrespect.

    Egg freezing, also known as oocyte cryopreservation, is often used as a fertility preservation method for women who wish to delay childbirth due to medical, career, or personal reasons.

    For Tiwa Savage, the move highlights both her desire for motherhood and her determination to plan ahead, ensuring that her dreams of raising more children remain within reach.
