Burna Boy’s sister says convincing him to attend Met Gala is her biggest achievement.
Ronami Ogulu, a fashion stylist and the sister of Grammy-winning Nigerian artist Burna Boy, recently expressed her delight and pleasure in her brother’s outfits for the 2023 Met Gala.
Ronami took to her official Instagram page and posted pictures of Burna Boy wearing a blue Burberry suit that she co-designed with her favourite designer, Daniel Lee. She was also quite pleased with herself for getting her brother to the elite event.
The annual event, which paid honour to the late fashion designer Karl Lagerfeld, took place at the Metropolitan Museum on May 1, 2023, and drew a large number of high-profile attendees from across the world.
Fans and fashion experts alike have complimented Burna Boy’s appearance at the Met Gala, with many praising his daring and fashionable choice of clothing. The involvement of Ronami in designing his outfit has also been widely appreciated, further establishing her as a rising fashion stylist.
Romani claims that she persuaded Burna Boy to go to the Met Gala. She wrote:
