Tiwa Savage Confesses Fear of Falling in Love Again After Past Heartbreaks

Award-winning Afrobeats singer Tiwa Savage has admitted that love now feels like a frightening prospect following her painful past experiences.
Speaking in an interview on Hot 97FM, Savage revealed that her past relationships left her with insecurities that could affect any future romance. “I’m scared of love, I’m so scared that I feel like if someone comes along with the right intentions, I’m so scared that I won’t be able to recognise it. I just might project onto him, like if he doesn’t call me back in ten minutes, I assume the worst,” she confessed.
“Are you still scared of love?”

While joking in July about wanting a partner who looks like British-Nigerian rapper Skepta, Savage has now said she also desires a man who is both kind and financially stable. Despite her fears, she admitted that deep down, she still longs for genuine love. “I’m praying that the right one doesn’t come and I don’t recognise it. I really am scared 100 percent. I just play around with it, but deep down I want love,” she added.
Her remarks echo sentiments she shared recently on the Joe Budden Podcast, where she recalled dating a public figure who insisted their relationship remain private. According to her, the secrecy went so far that he openly flirted with other women in her presence to appear unattached.
