Controversial singer Habeeb Okikiola, popularly known as Portable, has made alarming allegations, suggesting that the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) is plotting his arrest over purported Naira abuse.

Portable, who is currently residing abroad, asserted that EFCC operatives are poised to apprehend him upon his return to Nigeria.

The ‘Zazu‘ crooner, who recently appealed to the EFCC to pardon him if they possess any evidence of Naira abuse, now claims to be a target after self-proclaimed social media activist VeryDarkMan urged the agency to take action against him for allegedly mishandling the Naira.

Speaking in a recent Instagram live session with fans, Portable said: “I am scared. The EFCC is planning to arrest me when I return to Nigeria because VeryDarkMan name-dropped me.

“VeryDarkMan abi VeryDarkBrain, you talk too much. Leave talk for people who have something reasonable to say. Are you a law enforcement officer? Your opinions on public affairs are for people in the law enforcement agencies. When you were arrested it was Nigerians who begged for your freedom. When you came out, you were lean; all your muscles disappeared.

“And now you’re bragging. Leave talk for people who are sensible. You talk about women, politics, everything. What do you do for a living? Tok tok.”

Recall, Zeh Nation leader, Portable, has publicly appealed for forgiveness from the government and the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) due to his practice of showering money on his fans.

The street performer participated in a live discussion on Tuesday, April 16, 2024, where he expressed concerns about the potential repercussions of his actions and announced adjustments to his approach to financial generosity.

Acknowledging his past behavior of handing out substantial amounts of cash to his followers, particularly nearly N2 million daily in cash showers, the Tony Montana hitmaker clarified that his intent was rooted in spreading kindness and aiding others.
