Rema has revealed his intention to collaborate with Rihanna and Drake soon.
Rema sat down with the Official Charts Company where he spoke on his fame and his intention on collaborating with Drake and Rihanna.
Rema revealed he wanted to be a pilot when he was much younger because he lived close to the airport in Benin but that quickly changed as he grew older when he got exposed to gospel music and rapping.
The “beamer” singer also shared his future ambitions which include taking Afrobeats to the world and also putting his hometown Benin on the map.
He also said he would be very excited to work with Drake or Rihanna who has previously reached out to him before. He said he wants to collaborate with them someday in the future.
He also said that his parents introduced him to Fela Kuti and 2baba’s songs which played a big part in his music appreciation and his ability to blend genres.
