    On Saturday, June 5th, 2021, the Chocolate City act shared the story on his Twitter page. Blaqbonez reported that he was harassed by the police in the rain on Friday.

    He expressed dismay that this type of thing still happens even after the protests last year.

    In his words;

    I honestly find it hard to say anything about this country, nothing excites me again, nothing saddens me again, I’ve seen too much and now I’m some emotionless zombie. if i die i die, if i live i live.

    “Police still harassed me inside rain yesterday, pull me out of my car, slapped my bro. What we fought against just 6 months ago? no single sign this country is going anywhere. I’m no activist, I’m just a tired Nigerian without any faith in this country.”
