WizKid’s team had to paint a whole town just to shoot a short film, this is what I’m talking about dedication.
Wizkid serves Made In Lagos (Deluxe) as an extended short film for three of his new songs: “Anoti,” “Mood,” which features Buju, another Nigerian artist, and “Steady.
Ghanaian filmmaker kuukssss and Wzkid created a short film for the Grammy-nominated ‘Made In Lagos’ album.
The 10-minute production, which is bursting with colour, highlights the brilliance contained in Wiz’s newest tunes, which join smashes like ‘Ginger’ and global smash ‘Essence’ featuring Tems. Along with its companion album, the latter has been nominated for the upcoming 2022 GRAMMYs.
The Director revealed via her Twitter handle;

“We spent many DAYS and HOURS!! painting the town. We also had to repaint every building back to its original colour when we were done shooting. S/O to the Art Department!”

Made in Lagos is the fourth studio album by Nigerian singer Wizkid and the deluxe edition was released on 27 August 2021. It features additional guest appearances from Buju and Justin Bieber.
In support of the album, Wizkid embarked on the Made in Lagos Tour (2021–2022).
