When the event occurred, the artist was returning home from a birthday celebration hosted by Oxlade, another Nigerian singer, with his buddies.
After the vehicle accident, he needed surgery and has been wheelchair-bound ever since.
After being engaged in an accident on April 25, 2021, Victony was restricted to a wheelchair.
However, as soon as he recovered from his surgery, he resurfaced with Mayorkun’s collaboration titled Holy Father; off Mayorkun’s studio album ‘Back in the Office’
That experience has coloured his musical viewpoint ever since. Last year’s ‘Dark Times,’ released three months later, featured two tracks that gave a genuine portrayal of a survivor’s thoughts, such as the moving “Pray,” which ended with a sorrowful prayer from his mother.
