    Oxlade is one of the few artists in the Nigerian music industry that has an addictive voice, so obviously, and here is how his scandalous sextape aided in the promotion of his song.

    Ikuforiji Olaitan Abdulrahman, also known as Oxlade, rose to notoriety following a magnificent contribution to Blaqbonez’s ‘Mamiwota.’

    He later teamed with Fireboy DML on a record titled ‘Sing,’ which garnered him a lot of attention because to his wonderfully relaxing vocal skill.

    Oxlade on the other hand has proved his ability to break through the mainstream by having tons of great collaborations, including Skip Marley, who featured Oxlade on the  P2J remix to ‘Slow Down’, released in 2020. The bump led Afrobeats cut also includes vocals fixed from H.E.R and Nigeria afrobeat heavyweight Davido, clearly flagging a solid root in Oxlade’s approach.

    He released his debut 6-tracks EP titled ‘Oxygen‘ in 2020 which struck a chord across the nation and beyond, it serves as a ladder for him to grasp the position as the next rated artists in the Nigerian music industry.

    It was supported by a single titled ‘Away’ which is a groovy vibe, melodious tune and a shock value and resonance of an instant hit.

    The song also caught the attention of Canadian superstar, Drake, as he shared the song on his Instagram stories.

    In 2022, Oxlade become one of the most talked-about superstars in the music industry ever since he came on board with the singer boosting various hit music.
