Christian Pulisic told how he can ‘steal the limelight again’ after making stunning start to life at AC Milan.
Christian Pulisic has been told by AC Milan team-mate Davide Calabria that he can “steal the limelight again” after moving to San Siro.
After spending four years at Premier League powerhouse Chelsea, the American international made the choice to move to Italy.
At Stamford Bridge, the American forward won the Champions League, but he also occasionally struggled with his form and conditioning.
Pulisic has made an immediate impact at Milan, with two goals recorded through as many Serie A appearances after delivering a flurry of assists in pre-season.
The 24-year-old seems to have found the spark he lost while living in west London, as evidenced by the enthusiasm of his new teammates for the USMNT player.
Calabria has told Milan TV of Pulisic: “We are talking about a player who was in top form on the world stage just a few months ago. His form dropped in recent months but he is a great player who has already shown what he’s capable of. This is the best environment for him – the squad, the fans and this stadium – in order to steal the limelight again. These recent games have shown he is adapting very well.”
Despite the fact that nobody has ever questioned Pulisic’s abilities, he has expressed optimism about taking on a fresh challenge in Italy.
Alongside him at Milan are several well-known players, like Olivier Giroud, Fikayo Tomori, Ruben Loftus-Cheek, and Yunus Musah. The Pennsylvania native is keen to make the most of his time playing for yet another European footballing behemoth.
