Olamide has gone from being the young ambitious street rapper who took over the streets with Eni Duro to being one of Nigeria’s consistent music stars and one of Nigeria’s biggest Label bosses.

Bottom- Akon
Fans were startled to hear Akon sing in both Pidgin and Yoruba in the song “Bottom” when he released his highly awaited album Akonda. Olamide, it turns out, was the mastermind behind the music.
The news was verified by the hit-maker when a fan pointed it out on Twitter saying “Olamide wrote “Bottom” for Akon. We don’t deserve this legend.” To which Olamide responded with the praying hands emoji in thanks.
49-99- Tiwa Savage
One of the most astonishing fun facts Tiwa Savage revealed during a Genius interview for her song 49-99 was that it was written by Olamide.
Tiwa Savage reveals that the majority of the song was completed before she even heard it. Of course, she injected herself into it and modified it, but for the most part, it was a ready-made song from Olamide’s great mind.
Tiwa naturally contributed to it and made it her own, and she completed the song’s work.
Cho Cho- Zlatan, Davido, Mayorkun
Following the release of Zlatan’s hit song Cho Cho, Davido who was also featured on the song took to Instagram Live to celebrate the single’s release and praise Olamide for contributing his writing to the song’s production.
Olamide’s involvement in the song’s composition astonished a lot of fans.
injure Me- Teni
“Injure Me” is one of the notable tracks off Teni’s current Wondaland album, and she went on to make it a single and release a music video because of how fantastic it is.
Many people are unaware that Olamide co-wrote this song alongside Moses Philip Kayode. It’s even on the official Youtube data page for the song.
Owo Mi Da- Tiwa Savage
In 2019 Tiwa Savage left her Mavin Records to join Universal and she released three songs that year of which Olamide wrote two of the three singles (49-99 & Owo Mi Dah), therefore it’s safe to say he helped Tiwa Savage have a fantastic year.
