“I cried hard” – Hilda Baci opens up, reveals why she’s yet to be certified by Guinness world records.
Nigerian chef Hilda Bassey Effiong, popularly known as Hilda Baci, has clarified the situation behind the delay in receiving Guinness World Records certification.
In a deliberate endeavour to break Lata Tondon’s Guinness World Record for the most cooking hours, Hilda made news throughout the media after cooking for more than 100 hours.
Nigerians have been calling Guinness since she finished her cooking marathon to ask why she hadn’t received her certification yet.
The Chef elaborated on her reasons for not becoming certified in a new video that was posted to her Instagram page.
Hilda said that she and her group had not yet finished uploading the video proof.
She showed the video they were gathering to submit to Guinness World Records in the film.
She claims that they are attempting to finish the 100-hour file in a record-breaking four days. She continued by saying that the daunting procedure had made her cry.
Her words;
“2 days in uploading evidence footage for Guinness world record approval. 100 hours file is extremely large. We are trying to do this in record time.
We are honestly working round the clock trying to upload evidence on the Guinness portal. I also want to thank everyone for their love and support. I have cried so much cause it’s honestly overwhelming.”
