Hilda Baci, a well-known chef, has defended her fashion choices, claiming that they have no impact on her standing in life.
Hilda Baci has been criticized in recent days when previous recordings and images of her in revealing clothing surfaced on the internet following her cooking marathon. Baci rose to prominence after completing the 2019 longest cooking marathon by one individual.
The young chef told the media in Lagos that one may seem sexy while yet being a game changer.
She said, “I don’t have to be dressed like a nun to make it in life. One can be sexy and still amazing, beautiful, and smart. I shouldn’t be taken back because of my looks or dressing as this does not determine my values or endowment.”
“I’ve volunteered myself to say I slay and I have something up in the brain.”
Recall, The popular Nigerian chef, has spoken up about her previous struggles and revealed that she was once homeless.
The 26-year-old restaurateur mentioned in a recent interview with TVC how some believe she just fell from the skies to capture the achievement she accomplished.
The chef acknowledged that she underwent a lengthy process to get where she is now and promised to continue serving as an example for others.
“A lot of people see this buzz now, and most of them think I dropped from the sky. They don’t know I was homeless at some point. There’s an entire phase and journey that got me here, and I’m not even done.
“This is still part of a journey. I’m still on a path, and I’m still going. It’s not always going to be rosy. It’s not always going to be easy. But we need more examples like this so people can say, ‘Hilda did it, so I can do it as well.”
Her remarks provide a message of optimism and perseverance, urging people to follow their objectives regardless of the obstacles they may face.
