Arsenal agree £65m fee with Chelsea for Kai Havertz.
Arsenal have reached an agreement with Chelsea over a deal worth £65m to sign Kai Havertz.
The fee will be in the neighbourhood of £65 million, and personal terms are already in place. A medical appointment is also soon to be arranged.
He’ll probably agree to a long-term contract that matches the £210,000 weekly salary at Stamford Bridge.
In a transaction for up to £71 million, Havertz moved from Bayer Leverkusen to Chelsea in 2020.
The 2021 Champions League final goal was scored by the 24-year-old.

Early in the summer, Arsenal is moving to bolster its roster as Mikel Arteta attempts to do so.
They have already seen two bids rejected for West Ham star Declan Rice.
The second was for £75 million plus an additional £ 15 million, but the Hammers were holding out for £100 million.
Ajax star Jurrien Timber is also a target for the Gunners, despite the Dutch club rejecting an initial £30 million bid.
Mateo Kovacic’s £30 million move to Manchester City is the first of many expected departures from Chelsea this summer.
