Fans react to Singer Portable’s demands.
The Wahala musician, Portable, has thrown many social media users into a frenzy with his recent demand for the forthcoming Headies award.
Organisers of ‘The Headies’ on Tuesday, announced the 15th edition of the award show that celebrates Nigerian music talents.
For the first time, the award event will be held outside of the country on July 12 at the Cobb Energy Centre in Atlanta, Georgia.
A Bentley Bentayga 2022 was announced as the prize for the ‘Next Rated’ award category.
The organisers also announced new changes to the award show, including new categories and live streaming by major TV and streaming platforms, including CNN and BBCI.

The singer has sent a message to the Organizers of the Headies Award over the highly coveted Next Rated Category.
According to him, he is eligible for the award because his song, ‘Zazoo Zeh” is the reigning song in the country.
In his words;
“Na Me be Next rated, na my song dey reign. Zazoo Zehh, no be only one song, I get…one million song wey dey come”

His bold ‘warrant’ has thrown fans off balance, with many continuing to interrogate him about the specific project from him that is deserving of an award at ‘The Headies.’
