According to police sources, he will be interrogated. Depending on how their inquiry turns up, he may either be released or held in detention for a longer period of time.
According to reports, the reason for his detention was a falling out with music executive Soso Soberekon, whom he accused of attempting to assassinate him.
Soberekon who had earlier slammed a lawsuit on Harrysong, reportedly petitioned the Inspector General of Police, Usman Alkali Baba on grounds of defamation and threat to life by Harrysong.
To announce his arrest, Harrysong posted a new update to his Instagram story.
“I got arrested as I landed in Lagos, my phone was seized. They won’t allow me to communicate with my people”, he penned.
