Gyakie set to drop her sophomore EP, unveils title and release date

Ghanaian award-winning singer, Jackline Acheampong, known professionally as Gyakie, is set to dominate the airwaves once again as she revealed the title and release date for her upcoming sophomore EP.
The ‘Woman of the Year’ award at the 2022 3Music Awards and the Flip The Music superstar has announced the completion of her second studio Extended Play on her official social media page.
The Ghanaian singer who signed an international record deal with Sony Music Entertainment, RCA Records UK and Sony Music Africa has made the announcement on her verified Twitter page that her upcoming project will be titled ‘My Diary,’

When it is released, the EP will follow her first EP, “Seed,” which contains her hit single, “Forever.”
The five-tracked EP, ‘Seed’ which was released on Friday, August 7, 2021, has amassed over 12 million views on the streaming platform, Boomplay. The forthcoming body of work, ‘My Diary’ happens is a six-tracked EP and would be released on Friday, July 22, 2022.

In addition, The ‘My Diary’ EP includes ‘Something,’ a song that was released on Friday, June 10, 2022. Gyakie has also hinted that a single titled ‘For My Baby’ which has been released today Friday, July 1st, 2022, prior to the release of his sophomore EP.
