Ghanaian Afrobeat singer Jackline Acheampong known professionally as Gyakie has reacted to Afrofusion songstress Tems’s appreciation statement to all female colleagues in the music industry.
As Tems basks in the excitement of her BET win, several conversations have emerged, and Gyakie took to social media to respond to Tems’ address to the scene’s leading ladies.
Following Tems‘ win at the 2022 BET Awards, where she took home two awards, the singer sent out a tweet honouring the other leading ladies in Nigerian music.

The Damages hitmaker took to her social media platform to share her words of appreciation for female artists taking the center stage in Afrobeats today.
This heartening exchange follows Tems’ tweet of appreciation to Tiwa Savage, Asa, Simi and other key female acts from the older generation.
This had prompted responses from these artists on social media one of which is the Ghanaian songstress.
Gyakie had replied to Tems with words of encouragement, thanks, and support with the following message:
