Ghanaian fast-rising artist  Gyakie has debunked claims made by controversial media personality Blakk Rasta that she has been dumped by Ghanaians.

Recall, In an interview with a blogger, Blakk Rasta stated that Ghanaians have a habit of abandoning new artists after providing them with so much support when they first appeared on the scene.

He stated that most new musicians are not properly nurtured and trained before being given the exposure they require to advance in their music career, and as a result, most of them fade away when Ghanaians grow tired of them.

Speaking in an interview with Abeiku Santana on Okay FM’s Ekwansodwodwo segment, Gyakie stated that the assertions made by Blakk Rasta have no truth because as far as she is concerned, Ghanaians have not dumped her.

She stated that when she went away for a few months to work on her upcoming EP, her fans and music lovers only wanted more of her songs.

Gyakie stated that Ghanaians only wanted her to release more songs to quench their thirst, but they never dropped her or refused to love her songs.

However, she revealed that Blakk Rasta is entitled to his opinion but as far as she is aware, she has not been dumped, which is why her new song “Something” is thriving on social media just two weeks after it was released
