Burna Boy compared to Davido, Chike, Omah Lay, despite #Grammys win

Fan argues Burna Boy’s Grammy win doesn’t make him better.
It’s an all-out war on Nigerian Twitter space as Burna Boy has been compared to other artists despite his many achievements and #Grammys wins.
Following Wizkid’s double loss at the 2022 Grammys which was held on Sunday night, a Burna Boy’s fan took to Twitter to remind people that his fave’s 2020 album, “Twice as Tall’ is the first Nigerian album to win a Grammy.
He wrote;
“BURNA BOY’S “TWICE AS TALL” IS THE FIRST AND ONLY NIGERIAN ALBUM TO WIN A #Grammys
D O. N O T. F O R G E T. ! ????”
However, another tweep pointed out that winning a Grammy didn’t mean Burna was better than his other colleagues.
According to the tweep who goes by the username, @peteremekaonuje, the self-acclaimed African Giant isn’t better than artists like Davido, Omah Lay, Chike, Simi, Patoranking, Simi and Teni.

He wrote;
“Grammy awards doesn’t mean the artist is better,for instance,Femi and Seun Kuti have both bagged Grammy nominations while their music is largely unknown in Naija. Even Burna that won is not half as good as good as Davido,OmahLay,Chike,Simi,Patorank,Timaya,Teni”
His comment sparked conversations with some insulting him for his opinion, with others agreein with his perspective.
