It is a mourning time for the Salsa lovers, as the godfather of Salsa Johnny Pacheco dies at age 85.
Renownedly identified as the man who brought Salsa to the world, Johnny Pacheco dies in the hospital after suffering pneumonia.
Earlier, reports had it that he had been hospitalized in New York where he passed away on Monday afternoon.
His wife, Maria Elena confirmed the death at Holy Name Medical Center Johhny lived in Fort Lee, N.J.
