Goya Menor Slams Portable Over 2022 Headies Win.
After winning the recently held Headies awards, Nigerian rapper and musician Bright Goya, also known as Goya Menor, took a swipe at his fellow artist Portable.
The “Ameno” singer had some words for Portable following his 2022 headies victory.
On Sunday, September 4, 2022, the Cobb Energy Performing Arts Centre in Atlanta, Georgia, the United States, hosted the 15th edition of the famous award ceremony, which primarily honours achievement in the Nigerian music industry and beyond.
Goya Menor won the award for the best street-hop artist, much to the displeasure of rival street-hop act Portable, because of the immense success of his hit tune “Ameno.”

In an effort to discredit Goya Menor’s victory, Portable, who was previously disqualified after receiving two nominations (for best street-hop artist and rookie of the year) due to his alleged membership in the notorious criminal organization “1 million boys” and threats against the award’s organizers, took to Instagram after the ceremony. He claimed that Goya Menor is unknown in the slums.
On September 7, 2022, in response to Portable’s tirade, Goya attacked the Zazoo singer on his Instagram page, asserting that they are not on the same level.
