Religious Icon Ayanda Ntanzi Slams Kabza De Small for Unauthorised Remix
Gospel sensation Ayanda Ntanzi has expressed his disappointment with Amapiano producer Kabza De Small for allegedly remixing his popular track Spirit of Praise without seeking permission.
In an exclusive interview with newsmen, Ntanzi revealed that he only became aware of the remix when people started contacting him, congratulating him on a supposed collaboration with Kabza.
“I had no idea about the remix until people began reaching out to me, saying I had worked with Kabza De Small. I was taken aback because I never agreed to any collaboration with him,” Ntanzi said.
While the gospel star admitted that the remix sounded good, he emphasized his displeasure with handling the situation. “I came across the remix on YouTube, and to be honest, it doesn’t sound bad. However, I would have appreciated the courtesy of being asked for permission beforehand.”
Ntanzi’s team has reportedly reached out to Kabza’s camp for clarification, but they are yet to receive a response. For Ntanzi, it’s not just about the remix; it’s about respect and professionalism.
“It’s about respect, courtesy, and good musicianship. I wouldn’t have turned down the offer to collaborate if he had approached me. I’ve previously worked with DJ Cleo on a remix, and I agreed to it because we communicated openly.”
