Gospel Singer Mercy Chinwo and Husband Pastor Blessed Welcome Second Child
Gospel star Mercy Chinwo and her husband, Pastor Blessed Uzochikwa, have become parents for the second time, joyfully announcing the arrival of their new baby.
The celebrated singer took to Instagram on August 15, 2025, to share the news, posting a series of radiant maternity photos alongside her husband.
In her caption, Mercy expressed deep gratitude to God for expanding their family.
“The Lord has done it again! He has added to our joy, multiplied our laughter, and blessed us with the precious gift of a second baby. We declare: His name will be lifted in our lineage forever. Generations from us will walk in His light. Through us, many will be blessed, and the nations will call us blessed.”
She also showered love on her husband, praising him as an “amazing father of TWO” while acknowledging God’s unwavering goodness in their journey.

Mercy and Blessed got engaged in June 2022 and tied the knot two months later in Rivers State, in a star-studded ceremony attended by celebrities including Banky W and Waje. The couple welcomed their first child, a son, in 2023.
