Erykah Badu, GloRilla, Muni Long and Tyla to be honored at Billboards Women in Music event

Rising music sensations GloRilla and Tyla are set to be recognized at the 2025 Billboard Women in Music event, a celebration of influential female artists shaping the industry.
GloRilla, a three-time Grammy nominee, will receive the Powerhouse Award, acknowledging her meteoric rise in rap and her commanding presence in the music scene.
Meanwhile, Tyla, also a Grammy nominee, will be honored with the impact Award for her role in amplifying Africa’s influence on the global music landscape.
Dana Droppo, Billboard’s Chief Brand Officer, described the event as a tribute to women driving change and innovation in music. Billboard Editor-in-Chief Hannah Karp added:
“This year’s honorees redefine what it means to be a trailblazer in the industry. We’re excited to celebrate their impact through performances, tributes, and a night dedicated to recognizing the women pushing the boundaries of music and culture.”
The event will be hosted by Laverne Cox and is set to take place on March 29 at YouTube Theater at Hollywood Park in Inglewood, California.
While the Woman of the Year honoree and additional performers are yet to be announced, early access tickets are available today at 1 p.m. ET using the code WIM25. Public ticket sales begin on Feb. 13 at 1 p.m. ET via Ticketmaster.
