Shatta Wale Slams Ghanaian Music and Lauds Nigerian Music
Ghanaian award-winning dancehall artiste, Shatta Wale has slammed Ghana music and applauded Nigerian Music, Calling Ghana Music “A Disgrace”
On the 18th of January 2023, Shatta Wale took to his social media page to voice out about the state of music in Ghana.
He argued that Ghanaians should beg for assistance rather than continue to argue with Nigerian music promoters and fans.
Shatta Wale, who has had disputes with various Nigerian musicians in the past, including Burna Boy and Wizkid, paid tribute to the country’s music industry.
He wrote:
Is better we stop arguing with nigerian Fans ,promoters ,etc and ask for help

Recall, Mp3bullet.ng reported that the singer has shared his opinion on Nigerian and Ghanaian music highlighting how the two styles of music vary from one another.
In a lengthy post on his Twitter platform, Shatta Wale analyzed in his own words how Nigerian music outclasses Ghanaian music for him as an artist.
He tweeted:
“Please can we just respect Nigerians for their hard work and stop comparing our lazy lifestyle to theirs .. It’s shame ppl think Nigerians will come hard at me but see they are the ones doing the streaming cuz they understand what Talent means .. Ghana music is a shame.”
