Jonzing World signee Gdzilla says his mask was for publicity
Jonzing World signee Gdzilla has unveiled the reasoning behind his distinctive mask, which captured the attention of fans upon his introduction by label boss D’ Prince.
The mask, modeled after the fictional pre-historic Godzilla character from which he derived his stage name, became a focal point for listeners, sparking both intrigue and criticism on social media.
During a recent interview on Hip TV, Gdzilla candidly shared that the mask served as a deliberate publicity tactic aimed at garnering awareness, with the intention of eventually removing it once the desired impact had been achieved.
This emerging artist, who launched his debut self-titled EP in 2023, marks the third addition to the Jonzing World talent roster, joining the ranks of Rema and Ruger, each with their own distinct branding.
Influenced by his personal experiences, Gdzilla’s music encompasses significant street elements, a theme he promises to further explore in his upcoming releases.
With a collective goal of achieving a hattrick of breakthrough artists, Gdzilla, D’ Prince, and Jonzing World are striving for continued success following the mainstream accomplishments of Rema and Ruger, especially in the wake of Ruger’s departure from the label to establish his own venture.
