Gabriel mocks Aubameyang after Chelsea’s defeat to Arsenal.
After consigning Chelsea to a London derby defeat against the Gunners, Arsenal star Gabriel Magalhaes couldn’t help but poke fun at former teammate Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.
Arsenal continued their title defence with a superb 1-0 victory away at Stamford Bridge thanks to the defender’s game-winning goal.
The build-up to the game had been dominated by the fact that Aubameyang was facing his former side for the first time since his departure last January.
The Gabon international was stripped of the captaincy and allowed to join Barcelona after falling out with Mikel Arteta.

In a pre-game interview, Aubameyang stated that he was “ready” for the game and that the fact that he was playing for Chelsea’s rivals meant “nothing personal.”
Aubameyang had a difficult afternoon before being substituted halfway through the second half. Granit Xhaka was the only former Gunner to truly embrace Aubameyang at the pre-game handshakes.
Gabriel marshalled Aubameyang throughout and he had the perfect opportunity to take a dig at his former team-mate after he earned his side the victory when he nodded in Bukayo Saka’s corner.
The Brazilian took to Twitter and cited Aubameyang’s BT Sport promo and reminded him that ‘London is Red’.
NOTHING PERSONAL .. LONDON IS RED ❤️
