Gabriel Martinelli Set a New Premier League Record.
Arsenal’s forward, Gabriel Martinelli, has set a new record as he writes his name in the history books of the Premier League.
At the Emirates Stadium, the Brazilian scored the game’s first goal against Liverpool after 58 seconds. In the history of the match between the Gunners and the Reds, the goal was scored the second-fastest.
The fastest goal in the fixture between both sides was scored by Liverpool’s Martin Skrtel after 52 seconds in the 5-1 demolition of the Gunners at Anfield in February 2014.

Recall, Mp3bullet.ng reported that Martinelli claims that the only team Arsenal has fallen to this season is Manchester United. He also claims that had his goal against the Red Devils not been overturned, the outcome for the Gunners could have been very different.
“Obviously, this is just the beginning of the season, but since last year we knew he had a quite young team, so this is a project. And we are beginning to reap what has been sown,” Martinelli told The Times.
“We know we can achieve very big things, so we must keep the focus and the grit to try to achieve things this year because I think we have a chance.
“We have only lost to Manchester United, but if my goal wasn’t disallowed, things might have ended very differently for us.”
