Telecel Ghana Music Awards 2025: Full nominee list officially announced

After weeks of eager anticipation, the nominees for the 26th Telecel Ghana Music Awards (TGMA) have finally been unveiled, setting the stage for one of Ghana’s most prestigious music events in 2025.
The grand announcement was made on Saturday, March 15, 2025, through a live broadcast on TV3 and streamed across the official social media pages of the Ghana Music Awards, ensuring fans worldwide could tune in.
Scheduled for May 3, 2025, at the Accra International Conference Center, this year’s TGMA promises fierce competition as Ghana’s top artists battle for the most coveted accolades in the industry.
The road to TGMA 2025 officially kicked off on January 21, 2025, when nominations opened. Charterhouse, the event organizers, received an overwhelming response, with over 1,500 submissions from more than 130 artists and music groups, spanning a variety of genres. A panel of industry professionals meticulously reviewed the entries, ensuring a rigorous and transparent selection process.
However, the most coveted awards—referred to as the “Big 5″—always spark the most excitement and debate. This year’s nominees for these highly anticipated categories are:
