American singer and actress Selena Gomez has officially announced her engagement to music producer Benny Blanco, her boyfriend of one year. The pair’s love story has blossomed, and now they’re taking the next big step.
On December 12, 2024, Gomez took to Instagram to share the exciting news, posting intimate photos from the picnic proposal where she proudly flaunted her marquise engagement ring.
The caption read, “Forever begins now.” She also posted a heartwarming video on her Instagram story, where she surprised a friend with the news of her engagement during a video call.
Blanco, equally thrilled, expressed his joy in the comments section, saying, “Hey wait… that’s my wife.” Celebrities from all over the entertainment world flooded the post with congratulatory messages, celebrating the couple’s happiness.
Popstar Taylor Swift chimed in with a playful comment: “Yes, I will be the flower girl.” Lil Nas X couldn’t contain his excitement either, writing, “OMMGGGGG CONGRATSSS AHHH.”
