Flavour chats with an American woman who was scammed by a man posing as him.
Flavour and an American woman have found themselves entangled in a case of impersonation with the intent to defraud.
A scammer impersonated the Nigerian highlife singer to defraud an American woman named Kimberly, and it was only revealed after she appeared on the MTV show Catfish.
Nev Schulman, the host, video phoned Flavour to ask if he was the person Kimberly had been corresponding with online for nearly six months, but Flavour flatly denied knowing her.
The musician added that he has seen instances similar to this before where fans claim to have met him, but he is positive that he is not acquainted with them.
