First pictures of Lionel Messi in Inter Miami kit surface
The first images of Lionel Messi in an Inter Miami jersey have emerged in an Adidas store in New York, coupled with the motto “impossible is coming.”
The seven-time Ballon d’Or winner has stated that he will leave Paris Saint-Germain as a free agent this summer once his contract with the club expires. Although the agreement has yet to be officially wrapped up, the Adidas store in New York City’s SoHo neighborhood appears to have confirmed that everything is signed, sealed, and delivered because they are already using the 2022 World Cup winner in promotional material.
The main window of the store features photographs of Messi in the pink Inter Miami home kit, as well as rolling screens with the logo “impossible is coming,” in addition to Adidas’ standard “impossible is nothing” slogan.
Stopped by the Adidas flagship store in SoHo on my way home. Think it’s fair to say it’d be especially weird if the deal didn’t actually happen now. pic.twitter.com/4jjUiCNlwf

Inside the store, there are no Inter Miami shirts with the South American’s name and number on the back, but Messi-branded Miami and Argentina gear is everywhere, as are things from the Argentine’s own ‘Messi 10’ range, with the 36-year-old sporting a lifetime deal with adidas. On July 21, he is slated to make his MLS debut for the David Beckham co-owned team against Cruz Azul in the Leagues Cup.
