Nigerian ace singer, songwriter, and performer, Adedamola Adefolahan, also known as Fireboy DML has disclosed the first person he phones anytime he makes a huge step in his music career.

In an interview with Beat FM’s on-air personality Gbemi, the music sensation revealed that his label boss, friend and legendary Nigerian rapper Olamide, is the first person he calls anytime he has exciting news about his career.

The revelation was spurred when he was asked how he felt about having English superstar singer, songwriter, and instrumentalist Ed Sheeran on the remix of his mega-hit ‘Peru.’

The news of Fireboy’s collaboration with Grammy winner Ed Sheeran made the rounds recently, and he confirmed it in an interview, but he noted that he would have liked to keep it a secret until later.

The song is set to be released on December 24th, 2021, according to the 25-year-old star, and the video for the song has already been shot.

Fireboy went on to discuss his plans for 2022 in the interview, revealing his agenda, which includes his headline concert, his US Tour, East Africa & West Africa Tour, Europe Tour, and the release of his third album.
