Fireboy DML’s “Peru” Certified Platinum In The US

Peru by Fireboy DML is set to receive a Platinum certification in the US.
Fireboy DML is about to add another US Certification to his growing collection, this time a Platinum certification thanks to the remix of his hit song, Peru.
The Afrobeats star’s smash tune remix of “Peru“, which features Grammy-award-winning singer, songwriter, and instrumentalist Ed Sheeran, has gone Platinum in the United States of America.
According to reports, ‘Peru’ is said to have sold more than one million units in the US, hence why it is now a Platinum-certified record.
Chartdata reporting the good news on Twitter wrote;
“.@fireboydml’s “Peru” has now sold over 1 million units in the US”
The singer quoting Chartdata confirmed the news with; “platinum! ????????????”
The certification is yet to be issued by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) but anytime soon, it would be.

This news comes not too longa go after the song sold over 500,000 units in the US and was certified Gold by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) on April 14th, 2022.
The song also received a platinum certification in the UK in April after selling over six hundred thousand (600,000) units.
