Nigerian afrobeat star Fireboy DML has explained how he made his smash tune, ‘Peru’.
The Nigerian talented ace songwriter, singer, and performer Adedamola Adefolahan, popularly known as Fireboy DML, has revealed that his afrobeat blockbuster single ‘Peru’ was a freestyle and hence has no thematic value.
The sensation music artist is on a run with his current single, “Peru”, which was produced by Nigerian beat producer Shizzi.
The song topped the Official UK Afrobeats Chart Top 20 for twelve weeks, peaking at number one.
Recall, The Official UK Afrobeats Chart Top 20 is a list of the top 20 Afrobeats songs in the UK, determined by the Official Charts Company based on sales and streams during a seven-day period.

In an interview with the British-Congolese comedian and show host Eddie Kadi, Fireboy said that the song “Peru” was not planned, but rather a freestyle which he composed in the studio after meeting Shizzi.
According to him, he said Shizzi played the beat, and he got lost in the moment and provided the smash hit that the world is presently enjoying.
In the interview, When asked what the meaning of ‘Peru’ Fireboy explained that there is no clear meaning because the song is based on melodies rather than lyrics.
The ace sensational singer also said that he will be performing for his UK fans in manchester shortly as well as releasing his third album.
