Nigerian superstar, singer and songwriter, Adedamola Adefolahan, known professionally as Fireboy DML, has revealed the impact Nigerian Afrofusion superstar Wizkid has had on his musical career.
In an interactive session with fans on a Twitter space on Tuesday, July 19, 2022, Fireboy DML revealed if the Starboy will be on his ‘Playboy‘ album and how much Wizkid has influenced his career as an artist.
Fireboy shocked fans when he mentioned that the first album he ever bought was Wizkid’s debut album titled ‘Super Star.’

He also expressed his admiration for Wizkid as an artist and how he has influenced the careers of many others in the entertainment world today.
When questioned if Wizkid would be included on his third studio album titled ‘Playboy,’ which is set to be released in August 2022, the singer added that they would have to wait and see after the tracklist for the album will be unveiled.
Fireboy also opened up on the name he would prefer his fan base to go by and which is ‘Citizens’ he also talked about the fact that ‘Playboy’ would not be getting a deluxe version.
