    Fireboy DML bags Gold Certification in France

    Fireboy DML, the Afrobeats and RnB virtuoso continues to set the pace with his smash hit Peru, as the Ed Sheeran-assisted remix is certified Gold in France.

    This milestone was reached on June 2nd when the record had sold over 100,000 copies since its release.

    This is the singer’s third Gold certification, thanks to the success of his Peru remix, which was released in December 2021. The song had previously bagged Gold certification in the US in the month of April.

    The song is also a British certified platinum single and has sold over six hundred thousand (600,000) units in the United Kingdom.

    The “Playboy” hitmaker joins artists like Rema, Ckay, and Burna Boy who’ve attained Gold certifications in France.

    Fireboy himself is still pushing the envelope, as he is nominated for a BET Award in the category of Best International Act.

    In other news, Fireboy DML, has released a snippet of an unreleased song as fans gear up for his upcoming album.

    The singer took to his social media platform to share a snippet for a new song which is believed to be off his unreleased project.

    The singer has shared a teaser of an unreleased song for fans to look forward to his upcoming album titled ‘Playboy,’ which is set to be released in 2022.
