Nigerian musician Fireboy DML has achieved his first top ten entry in the Official UK Charts, with the remix of his hit tune Peru.
The remix for Adedamola Adefolahan, known professionally as Fireboy DML’s “Peru” song has appeared on the no. 6 spot on the Official UK Charts this week making it his very first top 10 entry on the chart.

Recall, Mp3bullet.ng reported that Last month, Fireboy released the remix for his current big single, Peru, which featured British artist Ed Sheeran.

The addition of the worldwide superstar to the song heightened its appeal, and the video received over 10 million views on Youtube immediately after its release.
The song has also debuted on the Rhythmic Radio Chart in the United States.
Fireboy’s appearance at no. 6 on the Official UK Charts with the Peru remix makes it his first-ever appearance on the top 10 spots.
The song enjoyed a 28-spot jump from the no. 34 spot it occupied last week. The original Peru song meanwhile has spent weeks on end atop the Official UK Afrobeats chart.
