Made isn’t the only Nigerian in the Recording Academy’s 2021 class. Niniola, the afro-house queen, has also joined the esteemed academy this year.

Prior to Niniola, the Grammy Recording Academy inducted AnR, Bankulli, and Juls, a Ghanaian producer, into the class of 2020.

In 2019, Aramide, a fellow musician, was inducted into the Grammy governance board.
