Afrobeats sensation Fave has shared a heartfelt message on the power of women supporting women in the often male-dominated music industry.
Through a series of posts, she encouraged women to uplift one another, emphasizing respect, empowerment, and solidarity.

Fave pointed out that women frequently face marginalization and are often overlooked, even when their talent or effort surpasses that of their male counterparts. She emphasised that men often tend to promote and support other men, making it all the more crucial for women to lift each other actively.
“Women aren’t really respected so as a woman when you get up, lift another woman first because the men will lift men even if a woman’s more deserving,” she wrote.

Going beyond words, Fave opened her DMs to fellow women, inviting them to share their businesses, fashion brands, or talents so she could help promote them.
She explained that while she is still on her own journey, she believes in using her platform to make a tangible impact for others.
“Please womennnnn send me whatever businesses you have or fashions or talentsssss. I keep saying I want to get to a certain place before I lift other women up, because I mean I’m still on this journey even get up myself, so how could I possibly influence anyone? But life is short! I’m opening my DMs for y’all specifically. My women. I will put you on,” she added.
Through this initiative, Fave aims to create a ripple effect of empowerment, using her voice and platform to spotlight and support women in creative spaces.
