Fave Dispels Any Misconceptions and Declares Her Independence from All Record Labels
Nigerian singer, GodsFavour Chidozie aka Fave has dispelled rumours that she is a record label signee.
According to speculations, the Afro-fusion singer and songwriter is affiliated with the record label emPawa Africa, which was established in November 2018 by globe musician Mr Eazi.
The ‘Baby Riddim‘ singer stated in a tweet that she is not currently signed to any record label and has never been signed before.
She mentioned that although it is not a flex, she is only clearing the air.

In other news, Fave, and talented producer Damie have received plaques for their chart-topping song “Baby Riddim”.
On December 20th, 2021, Fave’s hit single “Baby Riddim” topped the charts. The song was well received on radio and television and amassed impressive numbers across streaming services before peaking at number one.
The single was produced by renowned producer Damie, who combined Fave’s flawless performance with a Dancehall bounce and Afrobeats elements to create a captivating song.
Producing the number one in Nigeria is a special moment and a resounding testament to Damilola Temitope Adeyemi, better known as Damie.
In 2021, he produced the smash hit ‘Baby Riddim’ for Fave and his productions have since accumulated over 110 million streams across all platforms.
Nigeria’s leading music chart publication TurnTable Charts has awarded Fast-rising Afrobeats sensation Fave and talented producer Damie plaques for having the biggest song in Nigeria.
