SA responds as Nota celebrates wedding anniversary
Nota Baloyi, a South African music executive, has once more raised questions about the state of his mental health. This came when he turned to the internet to mark his wedding anniversary even though his wife Berita had left him. Nearly a year has passed since they split up, and Berita claims she has no intention of getting back together with Nota, who still follows her on Twitter.
People who commented on the post either commended Nota for his tenacity in getting Berita back or mocked him for being fixated on her.
Berita Khumalo permanently departed her marital residence in January 2021.

Nota has developed a reputation for criticising local celebrities and making contentious claims that have previously gotten him into trouble.
Before deciding to break up with Nota, Berita reportedly implored him to get professional assistance, according to her account in a candid interview with Sol Phenduka and Dineo Ranaka of Kaya FM.
“I have many memories of the day I left my marriage…I was in a narcissistic and abusive relationship…The day that I learnt I was in an abusive relationship, I did not stay one minute,” Berita told the presenters.
Despite this and numerous other interviews, the music executive still refers to Berita as his wife. When he is not thinking back on his marriage to Berita, he is airing out their unclean clothes.
He commemorated their wedding anniversary this week.
“On this day in 2021, at Home Affairs on Plein Street, in front of God & my parents, I took a vow to have & to hold, to love & to cherish my WIFE, in SICKNESS & in health, for richer or for POORER, until death us do part… I didn’t take those words lightly & I’m a man of my word,” he wrote.
