Die-hard fans of Nigerian artiste, Davido has taken to Twitter to celebrate Davido day.
Davido day is said to be the day when his first single, “Back when” which featured Nigerian rapper, Naeto C was released.
Fans made use of the opportunity to celebrate Davido and list his achievements, though some people also took advantage of the moment, as usual, to compare Davido to Wizkid.
Davido released “Back When” as ‘Omo baba Olowo’ album’s lead single on May 7, 2011. It was produced by Davido and received frequent airplay though it was the second single, “Dami Duro” that made him famous.
Davido told television channel Factory 78 he recorded “Back When” in London. The Clarence Peters-directed music video for “Back When” was uploaded to YouTube on May 9, 2011.
